Run Aintree Run the world famous Aintree Racecourse, best known for annually holding the world-famous Grand National steeplechase at the next Run Aintree on 28 September 2025. The course is a fast and flat 5km loop on tarmac within Aintree Racecourse and on an adjoining road, perfect for a personal best time. Choose from a Half Marathon, 10km or 5km distance. The start line is in front of the grandstand, with the start of the loop following around the back of the grandstands to reach the centre of the course. There is a very small section of soft surface to cross over into the centre of the racecourse, before completing a loop of the centre. The race then joins onto Melling Road for around 1km, before re-entering the racecourse grounds to reach the finish line. The 5km is 1 lap, 10km is 2 laps, and Half Marathon is 4 laps with an additional out and back section at the start. 5K (1 lap) 10K (2 laps) Half Marathon (4 laps +) Track
