Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10K & 5K The Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run on 5 October 2025 is held on a scenic and traffic-free road course in Hampshire. The 13.1 mile half marathon course is a challenging but exhilarating one, incorporating some legendary hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop, beautiful countryside and quaint villages. The 10km is an out and back course that shares much of its course with the half marathon, but with less hills and only a gentle climb for the first 5km followed by 5km downhill. The new 5km course follows the same scenic route as the other distances with a turn around point on Farleigh Road before looping back to the finish. Also included are 1 mile Kids' races with categories for 5-10 yrs and 11-15 yrs. Kids
