Bath & Bristol Railway Races Autumn The Bath & Bristol Railway Races Autumn edition on 12 October 2025 follow the route of the original train line from Green Park Station in Bath to Bristol Temple Meads. Distances include 50km Ultra, Marathon, 25km, Half Marathon and 10km. All are on out and back routes from Green Park, Bath, except the 25km which is a point-to-point route from Bath to Bristol Temple Meads Train Station. The 25km, Marathon and 50km run alongside the Avon Valley Railway station at Bitton and onwards to Bristol, passing restored signal boxes, picturesque stations at Warmley and Mangotsfield. These courses take in the 450m long Staple Hill Tunnel. The Half Marathon is on an out and back route to Bitton Train Station, with 2.5km in each direction running alongside the Avon Valley Railway, an active heritage line that still runs on the original route today. There is also a 2km fun run at Green Park.

Off The Tarmac Ultra Marathon The Off The Tarmac Ultra Marathon on 1 November 2025 is on 30 miles of trails through the Brecon Beacons. The runnable route follows the trails out North towards Brecon, through Garwnant and onto Beacons reservoir. Once at the far end of the reservoir the route crosses the A470 and climbs Pen y Fan (The highest peak in South Wales at 886 meters). Once at the top a descent of Jacobs ladder to the roman road then following the roman road to Torpantau and return on the trails via Taf Fechan Nature reserve back to Cyfarthfa Castle. This is a great route for those looking to take the step up to an Ultra event whilst also catering for the experienced ultra runners. Refer to the event website for compulsory kit details.
