Blackpool Night Run The Blackpool Night Run on 27 August 2025 is a 7.5km fundraising fun run along Blackpool promenade. The event is on traffic-free route which takes entrants under the famous Blackpool Illuminations, with the chance to preview the lights two days before the official switch-on. Starting and finishing outside Blackpool Tower, the route heads north towards the turnaround at Red Bank Road and returns to finish outside of Blackpool Tower. The event is free to enter; with every participant asked to either raise a minimum of £30.00 in sponsorship, or make a one-off donation to support Brian House Children’s Hospice. 7.5K Night
