Christmas Canter The Christmas Canter on 20 December 2025 is a 7 Hour running challenge in Mid Devon. Complete as many laps of a 6.55 mile course along the Grand Western Canal as you want within the time limit. Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, Ultra or something in between! Based from Sampford Peverell near Tiverton, the flat, fast out and back course is along hard packed gravel canal paths. This is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race. Multiple 6.55 mile laps - 7 Hour limit 1 Lap = 10K + 2 laps = Half Marathon 4 laps = Marathon 5 Laps or more = Ultramarathon
