Devon & Cornwall Backyard Ultra The Devon & Cornwall Backyard Ultra is a last one standing endurance race starting on 23 August 2025 at Newnham Park, Plymouth. A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km / 4.17 mile course in less than one hour, every hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hour's race. The race finishes when one person completes one more lap than anyone else. All proceeds from this event go to Bowel Cancer West. 1 x 4.167 mile lap every hour - Last one standing format
