East Grinstead 10K - Andy Ripley Memorial Race The East Grinstead 10K (Andy Ripley Memorial Race) on 5 October 2025 is a multi-terrain 10km race held on scenic bridle paths around East Grinstead. The course is mainly flat with the first 7km is off-road on well-surfaced bridleways and the final 3km are on residential roads. The route is well marshalled and has a water station at 5km. The event attracts 300-400 competitors and caters for all abilities. This community event is organised and supported by volunteers from East Grinstead Runners, surrounding clubs and East Grinstead Lions. It is dedicated to the memory of Andy Ripley OBE, English rugby union international, an active East Grinstead sportsman and former member of both EGAC and EGTC, who died from prostate cancer in 2010.​ 10K Off Road/Trail
