Epic Epping Forest Ultra & Ultra Lite The Orion Harriers' Epic Epping Forest Ultra is a 10 x 5 mile lap trail race around the stunning Epping Forest. The loop itself is a fraction over 5 miles bringing the full course is roughly 50-51 miles in total. It includes 3680ft/1120m of climb and incredible forest trails. The Ultra Lite is a cut down version for people who want to run a few laps and not complete the whole distance. This will be chipped timed and no qualification standard is required. Qualifying criteria applies for the Ultra and the race has a 10.5 hour cut off. Off Road/Trail The event also includes a Team Enduro - The challenge is to cover the most amount of distance (in miles) over a designated time period of 12hrs – this can be undertaken solo, as a pair or as a team relay of 4.
