Great South Run The AJ Bell Great South Run on 19 October 2025 is a popular 10 mile race held in Southsea, Portsmouth. Starting on Clarence Esplanade, the course takes runners on a nautical-themed sightseeing tour of Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, through residential and built-up areas and along the Southsea coastline again. The final strait is all beachside, with scenic views with a finish line at Southsea Castle. There is also a 5km race held on the same day, and junior events on the day before. 5K 10 miles
