Starting from Machen village, the Half Marathon course runs through the beautiful areas of Rudry Common, Cefn On Ridge, Cefn Onn Country Park and Coed Craig Ruperra. The half course is fully marked. The full marathon completes the half marathon loop first with a challenging second section, including up Machen Mountain to the Mynydd Machen trig point.
