Malton 10K - Marathon Du Malton The Malton 10K (aka Marathon Du Malton 10K) on 21 September 2025 is a unique event inspired by the Marathon Du Medoc in France. This event includes a 10km race through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside or a 10km ‘Gourmet Wineathlon’ through this area, famous for its local produce. Choose one, or do both. Courses start and finish in Malton's pretty Market Place, with 4 options available: The Malton 10K is a straight 10km race (no food or drink stops); Le Classique, the main event with 10km running with food and drink stops along the way; L’escargot (same as ‘Le Classique’ but just for walkers - dogs on leads also welcome) and the Le Sans Arret Ensemble where entrants take part in the run only race first and then do the course again, this time savouring the food & drink that’s on offer. The minimum age for the event is 15 years but you must be at least 18 to take samples from the alcohol producers. 10K - run only 10K - run with food/wine stops 10K - walk with food/wine stops Combined event - Malton 10K run + Le Classique
