Maverick Original Mendips Trail Run The Maverick Original Mendips Trail Run on 27 September 2025 is set in the stunning Mendips Hills in Somerset. There are 3 distances to choose from; 7km, 13km and 22km. Routes follow the West Mendip Way to the forests of Roweberrow Warren and up to Black Down heathland. Long Route runners will experience breathtaking views from along the top of Cheddar Gorge, stretching out towards Glastonbury. The courses include steep climbs and descents suited to all levels of runner. Short: 7K Medium: 13K Long: 22K
