Northstowe Running Festival The Northstowe Running Festival on 30 August 2025 includes a half marathon, 10km, 5km and family mile distance. The Half Marathon is a very flat single loop multi-terrain course that takes runners from Northstowe Town via peaceful paths around the lakes and out past some of neighbouring Longstanton’s historic landmarks into the surrounding countryside, then back to the finish line at Western Park. The 10km is a shorter version of the 13.1 mile route. The 5km route is along the greenways and around scenic Bug Hunter Waters Lake. The family mile is on a traffic-free course on the paths around Western Park. It is suitable for any age and ability and all profit from the Northstowe Family Mile goes to support local schools.
