Pierrepont Plod - Summer The Pierrepont Plod Summer event on 10 August 2025 is a 6-hour running challenge around the Holme Pierrepont Country Park, near Nottingham. Runners have 6 hours to complete as many loops of the 5.45km course as they can. The route runs along the pathways around the park and watersports area. Underfoot the route will mainly be compacted gravel pathways with a small amount through the wetlands which will be natural paths. Complete 4 laps and you have run a half marathon, 7 laps, a full marathon and 9 laps or more will be classed as an Ultra. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full 6 hours, or you can choose to finish just one, either way, you will be a finisher and receive a bespoke medal.
