South Downs & Arundel Marathon The South Downs & Arundel Marathon and 15 mile winter trails event on 18 January 2026 is on a stunning point to point route, traversing the South Downs Way to the town of Arundel. Both fully marked off road courses, start in the quiet village of Heyshott and then follow the South Downs Way (SDW) to the historic town of Arundel and its spectacular castle. 15 mile runners will drop down off the SDW and run along the River Arun before hitting the finish line, in the shadow of the castle. Marathon runners continue on the SDW and are treated to river runs, rolling fields and hills, there is even a hidden Gurkha Suspension bridge to navigate before you join the River Arun and head back towards the Castle and the finish. Coaches transport runners from Arundel to the start and can be added to your event entry. Cut off times are 7 hours for the Marathon and 14 hours for the 15 mile.

Off The Tarmac Ultra Marathon The Off The Tarmac Ultra Marathon on 1 November 2025 is on 30 miles of trails through the Brecon Beacons. The runnable route follows the trails out North towards Brecon, through Garwnant and onto Beacons reservoir. Once at the far end of the reservoir the route crosses the A470 and climbs Pen y Fan (The highest peak in South Wales at 886 meters). Once at the top a descent of Jacobs ladder to the roman road then following the roman road to Torpantau and return on the trails via Taf Fechan Nature reserve back to Cyfarthfa Castle. This is a great route for those looking to take the step up to an Ultra event whilst also catering for the experienced ultra runners. Refer to the event website for compulsory kit details.
