Thames Trail Ultra The Thames Trail Ultra on 25 October 2025 is a 47 mile point-to-point ultra marathon running from Iffley, Oxfordshire to Henley-on-Thames. The race starts approximately 3 miles south of Oxford at Hawkwell House Hotel in Iffley. From the Hotel there is a short run down to Iffley lock and after crossing the river the route takes the towpath through the picturesque towns and villages to Henley On Thames. This is a tough run along England’s largest river with ever changing scenery, beautiful houses and traditional rowing clubs. The terrain is everything from tarmac paths to muddy trails on the Thames Path and Ridgeway National Trails. The event is an Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) index race. The course follows a way-marked route but requires some navigation. Off Road/Trail
