The Amazing Northampton Run The Amazing Northampton Run on 14 September 2025 is a Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay that will take you on a grand tour of everything great in Northampton. The 13.1 mile closed-road route starts at the historic Market Square and follows the river past Northampton’s three main sporting grounds; Sixfields stadium (football), Franklin’s Gardens (rugby) and The County Ground (cricket), through three beautiful parks, passing through the modern University campus. The course is marked and well marshalled. Mile markers are provided along the length of the course. The event can be completed as a relay in a team of 3 in 3 stages ranging from 4.1 miles to 4.6 miles. For those not yet ready for the half marathon and a relay section is still a challenge, you can run some of the route with the Three Mile Race.
