The Summer Green Man Ultra The Green Man Ultra (GMU) is a 30 or 45 mile loop around the beautiful city of Bristol, run twice a year with the Summer GMU on 23 August 2025. The summer event is more firm underfoot and faster to run than the winter event and and for variation, is run in an opposite direction of the. The 30 mile event starts from The White Horse in Hambrook and takes in a partial loop of the Community Forest Path. The 45 mile event starts from Aston Park School and takes in a full loop of the path with both distances finishing at Aston Park School. The event includes well-stocked checkpoints, chip timing and pacers. 30 Miles / 48K 45 Miles / 72K
