
Abbey Runners is a friendly, community-based running club located in Leeds, Yorkshire. The club caters to runners of all abilities, offering training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings that are tailored to different paces and distances. Members participate in a variety of running disciplines, including road running, cross-country, fell running, and triathlon. The club organizes its own annual races, such as the Hollybank Eccup 10 and the Golden Acre Relay, and also has a thriving junior section that competes in the PECO Cross Country League.

Lace up for the legendary Leeds Half Marathon, a beloved 13.1-mile running event that has captivated the UK for decades. This scenic course winds through the vibrant city of Leeds, showcasing its renowned landmarks and providing an unforgettable challenge for runners of all abilities.
Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon The Clarion Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is back on 10 May 2026, taking on the street of Leeds. Former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. Since then, Rob and his family have campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support other families living with MND. This event will see over 10,000 participants take on a brand new route through Leeds that and takes in some of Leeds’ most scenic countryside and outer suburbs. The event will be held in support of the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal as well as the MND Association. Entrants are encouraged to raise money for a charity of their choice, or for one of our partner charities. See also the held on the same day.
