The Great Glen Ultra Marathon, one of Scotland's toughest running challenges, takes participants on a breathtaking journey through the historic Great Glen. Runners can choose between a 72-mile or 42-mile route, both showcasing the region's stunning natural beauty along a mix of canal towpaths, forestry trails, and country roads. This off-road/trail event is designed to be run unsupported, with marshalled checkpoints and a time limit to push participants to their limits.
