Heanor RC is a long-established running club founded in 1982, based in Heanor, Derbyshire. The club caters for runners of all ages and abilities, with a thriving junior section. They offer structured training sessions led by qualified coaches, covering disciplines such as road running, cross country, and track. The club organizes and hosts the popular annual Matthew Walker 10K Pudding Run event, which takes place in Shipley Country Park and attracts runners from across the region.

Blyth Running Club is a UK-based club located in south-east Northumberland near Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Formed in 1983, the club has approximately 130 senior members, 40% of whom are women, as well as a junior section of around 40 members. The club is primarily focused on road running, with members competing in events from 5K to marathon distance, though some also participate in fell, trail, and track races. Blyth RC organizes several of its own events throughout the year, including the Blyth Valley 10K, Blyth Links 10K, and Blyth Sands Race.
