Jarrow & Hebburn AC: A Vibrant Running Community Nestled in the heart of South Tyneside, Jarrow & Hebburn Athletic Club offers a warm and welcoming environment for runners of all abilities. Whether you re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, our England Athletics affiliated club caters to everyone, from 8-year-olds to veteran runners. Our club meets every Tuesday evening at the Monkton Stadium in Jarrow, providing a supportive and inclusive space to train, compete, and connect with fellow runners. With a diverse range of disciplines, including road races, cross-country, track and field, and marathons, there s something for everyone to enjoy. The Northumbrian Trail Runs The Northumbrian Trail Runs on 28 June 2026 include a 48K Ultra and 28K Run on newly created trails at Kielder Water. Starting at Kielder Waterside while the Northumbrian Triathletes are completing their bike leg, you will join the triathlon run loop after completing a spectacular 25km loop taking in the new Lonesome Pine trail and some of the best views of Kielder Water. Get some extra support from your friends and family over the final two laps of bull crag, where you will pass through the event village before finishing alongside your fellow runners and triathletes at the lakeβs edge.
