
Kilbarchan Amateur Athletic Club was formed in 1919 and is based in Renfrewshire, south-west of Glasgow. The club has around 300 members of all ages and abilities who compete in cross-country, road running, hill running, and track & field. Kilbarchan AAC stages several annual events including the George Cummings 4x2.7 mile road relay, the Trust Inn Trophy 3x2.7 mile race for women, and various schools and club competitions. The club s main training base is the On-X Sports Centre in Linwood, which has an all-weather track.

The Hardwick Hobble - Winter The Hardwick Hobble Winter weekend from 7 to 8 February 2026 includes a 6-hour running challenge event on each day, set in the grounds of Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire. Runners have 6 hours to complete as many loops of the 6.03km course as they can. The route is a moderately hilly circular running route, mostly off-road. Sunday's run is on the same route, but in a reverse direction. Complete 4 laps and you have run a half marathon, 7 laps, a full marathon and 8 laps or more will be classed as an Ultra. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full 6 hours, or you can choose to finish just one, either way, you will be a finisher and receive a bespoke medal.
The Rame Head Race offers runners a captivating journey through the picturesque Rame Head Peninsula in Cornwall. Featuring a range of distances, from the challenging 10K to the renowned half marathon and full marathon, this event showcases stunning coastal vistas and a dynamic blend of hills and flats. New for 2026, the race has expanded to include exciting 1K and 2K kids' races, as well as a 10K Canicross category for runners who wish to compete alongside their canine companions.
