
Marshall Milton Keynes AC, originally founded as Wolverton Amateur Athletic Club in 1885, is one of the most successful athletics clubs in the UK. The club has trained hundreds of local youngsters and helped many achieve success in the sport. It is known for its strong volunteer base, managing the Stantonbury Athletics Stadium since 1992 and raising over £1 million to build a clubhouse and upgrade the track. The club organizes a range of events each year, including the Milton Keynes Festival of Running, and is home to Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford.
