Formed in 1984, the club has grown to a diverse membership of around 50:50 male to female, catering to runners of all abilities - from complete beginners to seasoned marathoners and ultrarunners. Whether you re seeking a supportive group for your first steps into running or aiming to push your performance to new heights, Nidd Valley Road Runners has something for everyone. The club organises a dynamic calendar of road, fell, trail and cross country events, as well as regular social runs, interval sessions and weekend long runs through the stunning surrounding countryside. Welcoming runners on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm at the Harrogate Hockey Club, Nidd Valley Road Runners offers a friendly, inclusive environment to explore your passion for running and connect with a vibrant community of like-minded individuals.
