
Northbrook AC: Your Friendly Community of Runners Nestled in the heart of Coventry, West Midlands, Northbrook AC is a vibrant and welcoming running club with a rich history dating back to 1978. Our club has grown to over 250 members, all united by a passion for running and a desire to support one another on the journey. Whether you re a seasoned runner or just starting out, Northbrook AC has something for everyone. We offer a variety of training sessions throughout the week, catering to different skill levels and paces. Join us on Mondays for our mixed-ability sessions, where you can find the perfect group to suit your fitness level, or challenge yourself on Wednesdays with our more advanced workouts. Beyond the training, Northbrook AC is a close-knit community that celebrates the social aspect of running. From our popular annual 10k race to regular social events, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow runners and make lasting friendships. Our two dedicated Club Welfare Officers are committed to ensuring a safe and positive experience for all members. Run Sandringham Half Marathon & Community Mile The Run Sandringham event on 28 September 2025 includes a Half Marathon & Community Mile based at Sandringham Estate, the Royal Family’s winter retreat. Run 13.1 miles with thousands of others through the Estate and surrounding trails on a scenic route with stunning views of the Norfolk Countryside. The event also includes a Community Mile fun run for the whole family (this is not a chip timed event). Half Marathon Off Road/Trail #ERROR!

The Great Glen Ultra Marathon, one of Scotland's toughest running challenges, takes participants on a breathtaking journey through the historic Great Glen. Runners can choose between a 72-mile or 42-mile route, both showcasing the region's stunning natural beauty along a mix of canal towpaths, forestry trails, and country roads. This off-road/trail event is designed to be run unsupported, with marshalled checkpoints and a time limit to push participants to their limits.
