Norwich Road Runners: A Vibrant Community of Passionate Runners Nestled in the heart of Norwich, the Norwich Road Runners is a thriving, inclusive club that welcomes runners of all abilities. With over 300 senior members and 60 enthusiastic junior runners, we foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the camaraderie of the sport. Our club sessions, held at the Sewell Park School, offer a variety of paced groups to cater to runners of different skill levels. Whether you re a seasoned athlete or just starting your running journey, you ll find a welcoming group to join and push your limits. Beyond our regular training, we also receive a number of coveted London Marathon entries, which are allocated through a fair system, giving our members the chance to take on one of the world s most iconic races. Guided by our robust governance policies and affiliation with England Athletics, we prioritise the safety and welfare of our community. The Clumber Lakeside - Autumn The Clumber Lakeside Autumn event on 9 November 2025 is a 6-hour running challenge based at Clumber Park, Worksop. Runners have 6 hours to complete as many loops of the ~ 7km course as they can. The route is around the lakeside with roughly one third on tarmac paths and the rest on trails. If you complete 3 laps you have done a half marathon, 6 laps, a full marathon, and 7 laps or more will be classed as an Ultra. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full 6 hours, or you can choose to finish just one, either way, you will be a finisher and receive a bespoke medal.
The Clowne Half Marathon, a popular and challenging 13.1-mile road race, invites runners of all abilities to experience the stunning East of England countryside. This undulating course takes participants through picturesque Derbyshire villages, culminating in a vibrant finish in the town of Clowne, where finishers are rewarded with the famous Finishers Hoody.
