Stafford Harriers: A Vibrant Running Community Established in 1986, Stafford Harriers is a thriving, friendly running club that welcomes runners of all abilities. With over 220 members, the club fosters a supportive and inclusive environment, catering to everyone from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. Each Tuesday at 6:00 PM, the club gathers at the Hockey Club in Stafford, West Midlands, for a varied programme of training sessions. Whether you re seeking speed development, hill work, or long-distance runs, the experienced coaches ensure that every runner can find a group that matches their fitness level and goals. Beyond the weekly training, Stafford Harriers is an active part of the local running community. The club organises several popular annual races, including the Bare Wrist Race, Showground Relays, and Staffs Knot 5 Mile and Fun Run, as well as supporting nearby Park Run events. With a strong social element, the club also hosts regular social events, fostering camaraderie and a sense of belonging among its diverse membership. Run Sandringham Half Marathon & Community Mile The Run Sandringham event on 28 September 2025 includes a Half Marathon & Community Mile based at Sandringham Estate, the Royal Family’s winter retreat. Run 13.1 miles with thousands of others through the Estate and surrounding trails on a scenic route with stunning views of the Norfolk Countryside. The event also includes a Community Mile fun run for the whole family (this is not a chip timed event). Half Marathon Off Road/Trail #ERROR!
