West End Runners is a friendly, adult-only running club located in the East Midlands city of Leicester, UK. Formed in March 1984, the club was founded through a community initiative between the Norfolk Street Police Station and Leicester City Council. The club aims to cater to a wide range of running abilities, from beginners to competitive athletes, with a focus on encouraging running of all kinds from 3-mile fun runs to full marathons.

This unique closed-road city centre race invites runners to experience the scenic River Cherwell and the beautiful University Parks, showcasing the iconic colleges along the way. Young runners aged 9-15 can also take on the 3km junior race, making this an event suitable for the whole family.
