Woodford Green AC

Woodford Green AC was founded in 1908 by members of the Woodford Green Working Men's Club, inspired by the 1908 London Olympics. The club merged with Essex Ladies AC in 1998. Woodford Green AC has produced many top athletes over the years, including Olympians like Sally Gunnell and Daniel Rowden. The club is based at Ashton Playing Fields in Woodford Green, Essex and competes in the British Athletics League and UK Women's Athletics League.
