About The Loop Ultra

The Loop Ultra The Loop Ultra on 11 October 2025 is a 32 mile (50km) trail ultramarathon in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. The race starts at Camp Plas, by the village of Dolanog (near Welshpool). The course takes in trails, forest tracks and ancient paths. Runners be immersed in outstanding views across to the Shropshire Hills and southern Snowdonia. The event is on a marked route with the added support of back runners and a generous cut off time of 14 hours. It is Canicross friendly - refer to event website for associated rules. This is a cup free event - you will need to bring a reusable cup. Dog Friendly/Canicross
