Keswick Half Marathon The Keswick Half Marathon on 21 September 2025 is on a scenic, challenging 13.1 mile route around Derwentwater with an extra loop into the Newlands valley. The race starts in Portinscale (just beyond the footbridge), approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the event base/finish line, the Keswick Rugby Club. As well as the Half Marathon, there will also be fun run events for the kids with a 400m for 11 years and under and 1200m for 15 years and under. This event is organised by Keswick Rugby Club. Money raised goes towards their rugby program, developing all age groups with quality coaching and the necessary equipment. Kids (11 yrs & under) 400m Kids (15 yrs & under) 1200m Half Marathon Kids
